Overview of the Prostate
The Prostate is a walnut-sized gland in the
male reproductive system just below the bladder, surrounding part
of the urethra. The gland consists of thousands of tiny fluid-producing
cells and is part of the exocrine system. Exocrine glands produce
substances that are secreted outside of the body, as opposed to
endocrine glands, which produce substances for secretion within
